Can you have/run Firefox and IE7 both?

I've heard Firefox eliminates just about all the viruses and junk on the web. Truth?

I've never had any problems with Firefox. Some websites are designed for IE7 or better, and some are designed for Firefox.

I have both on my computer. I use IE7 to access Wells Fargo for some online banking and I use Firefox for everything else.

Have both IE and Mozilla Firefox..

There are a few pages optimized for IE, so I use that for it - the rest (about 95% of everything) is FireFox.

Also have ThunderBird as mailprogram - and it works great.
    The antispam-filter is just great.

Also netbanking is safer with FireFox (at least with my bank it is, IE was compromised by a data-mining program that was sent by email)

Generally Microsoftprograms are riddled with securityholes, Firefox is not perfect either - but it seems it does allow greater control over what you do on the internet.

Try it out - you can always uninstall it.

And yes - you can run both IE, Outlook , Firefox and Thunderbird on the same machine, no problem.

When you install Firefox, it automatically retrieves the homepages you're used to from IE and imports the settings.
Once installe - you're good to go.

Both is no problem. Firefox is better, because there are less security holes, more eyes looking for security holes (one big advantage of open source software), and any holes that are found are fixed quicker. Heck, you can even fix 'em yourself... (after you learn C++)...

I use both. Usually Firefox because it's simpler and faster, but sometimes I have them both running at the same time. Works fine.

Both are on my new laptop. I am finding that I am using Firefox more and more. Takes a while to get used to, but it is growing on me. No problem running both. I have yet to find a web site that Firefox will not display. Using it right now, as a matter of fact.

I use both, IE at work, Mozilla at home. I rarely run across anything that requires IE.
