    Well, ya probably wouldn't if it was your land they were turning into a moonscape. I know it looks brutal on the face of it, but considering the number of acres they have to cover and the damage the critters they do, it's probably the most effective way to do the deed.
    I know people who love prairie dogs, too. Until they see what they can do to a pasture.
