Whats a stump grinder cost for rent?

    That might not be that bad depending on the number of stumps you have!
    Around here, they charge about 30 bucks per medium stump, that is to have someone do the work.
    Doesn't take many to make 150 bucks!

    I hired a man with a grinder 6 years ago and he took out 24 large pine stumps for $10. per stump. Very reasonable and he ended up with a new Mossberg pump shotgun for his troubles; everyone was happy. RJSnow

    Stump grinders in my little town charge $3.00 per inch. In the bigger
    towns, $4.50 to $5.00 per inch. Minimum for local work is usually $50.00.

    Another alternative is to dig deep around the stump, wash it off and take the ol' chainsaw and cut it off below ground level. Fill it back in and bingo.. no stump.

    This is ME doing the works.

    If i rent a grinder, and go grind 4 stumps, This dude offers 400$ in fireworks, Problem is he only pays 70 bucks for all those fireworks, dad said.

    4 of the 12 - 15 inch stumps.

    Here where I live, it costs about $75 a day to rent a stump grinder.

    around here they'd throw ya in jail for even thinking about cutting a tree down. stump grinder would just add another charge to the already long list.

    Get you a couple of cheap 25lb bags of charcoal and fluid and burn them out. Fire it up like a BBQ and you can roast some weenies as well.

    105$ and it can do about a 10-15 incher, it has a 8 in blade on it, but depending on size you might want a bigger one. just depends how big a stump your looking at.
