Gun show
Headed to the big Sioux Falls gun show today to help out our gun club with a membership drive, and to get folks signed up for a pistol class. I'll let y'all know if I come home with any goodies...[:D]

Today, I went to the local gun show. I ended up with a few knives, but also a bad impression from a lot of the sellers there. Out of the 11 I talked to, 8 were rude and just seemed to not care, the other 3 were amazingly helpful. One of the guys who was rude to me, actually was about to make a load of money off of me, but I was deterred by his attitude. Just my rant, anyone else have similar experiences at shows? 0 -

Finally after 3 months a local gun show worth going to. Ventura, Ca. Ever since LA county drove out "The Great Western" gun show, they have been pretty scarce in this neck of the woods. Sept 7 and 8. Nothing quite like a gun show to make you forget about your troubles for a while. That Great Western was something though, over 5000 tables. Ventura is a good little show. Can't wait.

Went to the Montgomery Gun Show today,and found some 25-20 ammo + 22 short HP's....all hard to find...most sellers said business was slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....Did see a Colt Walker First Generation for 1250.00...looked like it was in good condition... 0 -
bought myself a tomahawk and a few boxes of ammo for 4.00 a box.
Not much.. but a good day. Had a AK-74 receiver for 100.000 -

Todays show wasnt nothing to brag about.. dealers with the typical attitude of "Mine is priceless and yours is Worthless" with 99% of the guns 100 bucks over book, or local retail..They seem to think, if your not behind one of the tables your stupid..OH well none of em got my money..Did manage to get this little North American Arms Mini Master though from a Guy I know, who was just walking around like I was.. Thats where the real deals are, from the people that bring guns in to deal with..[;)]

I attended the Roanoke Va. gun show today, i have never in my life saw such a line at the ticket counter. Was about 150 yds. long. and they had to open extra booths. There was a nervous excitement i have never before seen at a show. The guy beside me in line had a semi-auto pistol that he had bought from a fellow outside before he got into line. Dozens asked him how much he was selling it for, he replies not selling, just bought it.
Prices were not bad. I went just too find some milsurp ammo (7.5 swiss) but found none so bought a few 40 mm ammo boxes (18x10x6)for storing hunting gear and a milsurp manual for my No.4 enfield.0 -

Went to the first gun show in a while, really depressed.
I was walking up found a cell phone, I walked in, there was a long line, I had the security use the intercom, if any one lost a cell phone, finally one g showed up, he was so happy, he should have paid my admission.0
