Look what i get to play with this winter
Unloaded this at the trail head today..
Its a BR2000, similar to the BR350
It has a 355hp C9 8.81p Caterpillar electronic turbo diesel
delivers 1,100ftlb of torque at 1,400rpms [:p]
wieghs in at just under 18,542lbs
in case anyone wants to know it cost $87,500, ADDED: thanks to CSA for the equipment grant. This is the Gunnison County Snotrackers New snocat I am one of their volunteer groomers.

well as you can see it will be a few weeks before the snow is deep enough to run her.

Why not just put tracks on a 4 wheel drive like some of the clubs here in Maine are doing to groom trails. Its a heck of a lot cheaper and they work just as good. 0 -

I don't know what that setup looks like. I dont think that would work real well out here. there are 25+ clubs out here and all have 1 if not 2 of these type groomers. The State of Colorado through CSA(colorado snomobile assosiation) has given grant money to the clubs for the equipment.0 -

The track 4 wheel drive do not work nears as good. I have groomed and sleded for al my live and a good groomer is the only thing that will work at least out west.0 -
