    I Posted this on another forum trying to double my chances.I want to build a gun vise out of wood.Does anybody have a set of plans or suggestions on this?

    I didn't know plans existed for them. I have always seen them around the gunshops in these parts.

    Here's one I bought, but easy made. I posted some pics on here before of a much fancier one, a search may find..nope, I had deleted the pics.

    The vise part on this one is just one of the old wood vises.

    What size is the Jorgensen Clamp (wood clamp)used on that vise?
    The smallest one that I can find is a 8" at the local hardware store.
