500 POST GIVEAWAY

I've come up with something for my traditional 500 post giveaway. My Dad left me this knife that's been sitting around for several years. I've been told that it's post Civil War era homemade. I can't verify that but it definitely looks like it.

It has a 6" fixed steel blade with a brass/wood handle.

Looks cool and would look even better with a good cleanup.

You must have 100 posts to enter.

The winner will be drawn out of a hat, by my daughter, on 5 Mar. I pay for shipping.

    Since I'm coming up on my 500th post I will be giving away a Bass Pro XPS 360 tackle bag. It's only been used twice. I bought it this winter for wading/canoeing but decided I needed a back pack style tackle bag after only a couple of fishing trips. It doesn't have the 360 tackle boxes (I used them in my new bag).     My wife will kill me if she finds out but I've won two giveaways and feel that it's time to repay the kindness. The only rule is that you like to fish and I will pay the shipping (Conus only).     i made it 500 post..ok first of all just a little back ground here.i drive a milktruck and go from farm to farm for milk pick up..so what im giving away is 2 POUNDS of wisconsin mild cheddar cheese from the dairy plant i deliver to so who wants in on this one...

    Well I made it to 500, I've read a lot of different topics, some important, some not, it's been a fun ride, I want to thank you all. so it's give away time! sorry no pictures, but who needs 'em! I'm giving away a 20rnd box of Wolf .223 h.p.'s, a 20rnd box of rushky 9mm ball,(not rusty-RUShKY) and a S&W window sticker(I don't own one) RULES ARE: none! Names will be thrown in a hat and the wife will pick a name on sat. night right after COPS, shippings on me.

    I recently passed the 500 post mark so its time for a giveaway. Up for grabs are two books, In The Gravest Extreme by Massad Ayoob and The Concealed Handgun Manual by Chris Bird. Both books are extremely helpful for anyone new to concealed carry or who is thinking about concealed carry, I read both of them when I got my permit several years ago. I will leave it open to anyone who was a member as of the time I posted this message. I will select the winner sometime Sunday night or Monday. Edit: I was planning to give both to the same person. Edit: I will do the drawing tomorrow afternoon, just wanted to bump this back up the list to give any late comers a chance.

    I really enjoy communicating with you folks and find this forum not only entertaiing but educational. To celebrate my 500th post I'm going to be giving away a Tasco Long Eye Relief Pistol scope. This 7x32mm scope has 30mm tube and is from the Tasco Custom Shop. It has been used but is in like new condition in original box and not a scratch on it.     my route is around black earth,cross plaines,and madison,i pick up the milk for the 2 farms of the uw madison school,plus i have about 10 other farms i go to.
