One day in Bangkok
I finally got some time to get out (away from work) and do some sight seeing. It has been raining here a lot too. Anyway here are some pics.
I figured I would be the typical tourist and do the boat tour. Here is a pic of my boat driver. I called him Rangoon. He didn't seem to mind.

There is a little zoo that everyone calls the Snake Farm. The sign says Crocidile Farm. Really it is just a crappy little zoo. It is kinda cool because they do a show where the guy handles a couple of cobras and you can hold a python and a monkey (whose name is Cappichino).

For those of you who like to bitch about living conditions in the US. Take a look at this picture. It is one of the many things that you see on the river tour. People actually live in places like this. Actually, these houses are on the nicer side.

I also went to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). It is one of the oldest Temples in Bangkok. It is amazing that they built this place without modern tools. Check out the last pic (the one with the ladder). That is how they get up to the top (about 20 stories up)!

I will have more pics coming tomorrow.
