Shotgun News
Anyone read the article entitled "dont let ignorance turn you into a felon"? SGN 1/20/03
Great read! It seems there are a lot of little details that can put one behind bars. This should be required reading (especially for mil-surp collectors).[:(][:(]

the hard stuff we do right away - the impossible takes a little longer

I'm going to subscribe to shotgun news. It's a great magazine. I was at a friends house yesterday and there's two different subscriptions.
One with 12 monthly issues and another for 36 issuse/3 times a month.
Question is which should I subscribe to? Is the monthly issue a larger addition then the 3X a month issues or do they just send a random issue once a month? I don't want to miss out on anything but 3 times a month seems like a lot of magazines and to me there might be a lot of redundancy with 3 issues a month.
Does anyone get the 3X a month issue vs the once a month issue?0 -
Any one still subscribe to it?? There is a reason but I'll wait for a few replies first. 0 -
I'm reading my copy of March's issue of Shotgun News.
quote:The Mossberg 835 has been rather bored this winter. The inside of the safe is looking the same, day-in, day-out. He doesn't get to go anywhere. Sure, it could have something to do with the seven feet of snow still on the ground, but he's just not feeling loved. The spring in his magazine is just waiting to send something into action.
The Winchester 1300 hasn't seen the outside of the safe in over a year. He, too, is feeling rather unloved. He's also a bit jealous of the Mossberg, because he keeps getting accessories while the Winchester isn't getting any. He'd cry, but he's afraid that the end result would be rusty.
The Remington 870 is still brand new. He wouldn't know what the outside of the safe looked like if you showed him. But, his owner keeps promising to take him to the range soon.
It is a pretty short issue, but that's what was published from the inside of my safe in March.
The April issue is far more exciting, and you should really see April's issue of Handgunning.0 -
