    Why not? I'm looking for reasons why folks think (keyword on think) he's a good canidate. I'm just interested in others thoughts.

    Cubs congratulations on the wife, I just wanted to hear other peoples reason for liking this person or that person.

    I am a single issue voter, and he seems to be the only one who vocally supports the Second Amendment.

    For now, he has my vote, even though I don't believe it is winnable by a Republican and/or conservative.

    I am like you Doug on the single issue (The 2nd Amendment). However, I do believe Thompson has a chance. Alot of liberals will probably vote for him because they like his character on the different TV shows and movies without even knowing how he stands on the issues.
