Who owns the U.S.A???? It sure aint people like me. I just herd the news as told on TV about the attorney that has T.B. His parents his new wife's parents, what a crock of B.S. The me,I generation never seems to amaze me. That jerk has gave his T.B. to maybe millions. But that is not all, what about the tooth paste that will poison us, also the bad spin-age last year and those pore people that Katrina made homeless, their still homeless. Almost forgot about the dog food that was poising and killings our pets, We have health people making large sums of tax payers money to stop that kind of stuff, they aint doing their job's, why cant they be FIRED and put in prison.

Very good rant...A little incoherent and sometimes rambling but at 70 incoherence is expected. Now, if your younger than 55, then that incoherence is a sign of lesser mental stability. 0 -

I'm only 68, but I like almost everybody. When I was in my 20s, I wondered ....What's the matter with those old grumpy guys. Then I figured out that age had nothing to do with intelligence, temper or a person's ability to accomplish great things. I really don't think much has changed over the years.

One difference today is the fact that we have a media feeding us negiative news 24/7. If you spend too much time watching or listening to the TV or Radio it will depress anyone.
News is flashed around the world so quickly nowdays, so we are informed of stuff we would never be exposed to in the 1940's or 1950's. Times have changed.

Another danger of older age is becommng cynical! We remember when gas was 19 cents a gallon and cars were $2500 new. Its all relative and change is inevitable! Move on and forget the past, there is only today! Live in the now!

Dont let it get ya down...I am serious when I say this too...I know sometimes the news is depressing and it seems the whole world is out to destroy each other....Classic and I talked about this the other day, it was just a "what the hell is the use day", it was after the TB bit, the illegal bit, the shooting bit, the election bit, the bad politican bit, the price of gas bit, the price of food bit, lack of health care...etc etc...
I know how it is chuck, we all do but its how we deal with it...SOme push it aside, dont listen to it, ignore it....others go off the deep end and a lot of innocent ppl get hurt by it...still others rant, yell scream and the only ones who hear are themselves...In other words, they say a lot and do nothing...
Still others listen, debate, and then take action...Sometimes the action may not seem like much but the end result will show...Chuck, no one person "owns the US"...it belongs to all of us, all who want to see the US become the great nation it once was..we want to see it prosper, we want to help it grow, become strong, protect it and no I am not talking about the ppl running it, I am talking about the country itself...The ppl and the land made this country great not the politicans, and we can do it again...so chuck, take your wife and kids...love them, teach them to love and respect this nation along with all countries...its not the land that ruins the country ...its the ppl in charge...the ones that are so power hungry and greedy, they are killing this nation...
