posi-lock necessary on scope?
I am looking at getting a Burris 2x20 hangun scope for a Ruger Redhawk 44mag. Is it necessary to get the posi-lock on it? It would add about $100 to the price.

Although it may be necessary, I have not found a person that has been happy with the posi-lock as it has a habit of changing your zero when the lock is applyed. For just a .44 you realy do not need to worry about it. 0 -
Not worth the extra cost.
If my Colt Anaconda .44 with an 8 inch barrel cant shake the cheap Simmons scope off zero without it. I do not think that a Burris will be effected by a .44's recoil.0
