why is it that I purposely tease myself and get all heated over the "gun control" issue, I logged onto MSNBC and I could not help myself... they had the whole shooting thing as a story and then a post your comments... could not resist... I just had to tear apart an anti-gunner anyways this is what I got so pissed about... really my blood is boiling and I think I now have a fever

04/16/07 09:13 PM Another example of "Guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people." If this guy did not have guns he could not have killed 22 people and wounded 28. This is what our gun lobby gives to America.
Are you kidding me? ? ? Wow... I am getting tired of ignorant people thinking that "gun control" will actually work... look at the facts seriously. just because you don't like guns, or your "daddy" never took you hunting when you were little and you never became an educated American on one of the reasons that we have the freedoms that we have today, then i suggest that everyone STOP WITH THE WHOLE GUN CONTROL REMARKS..... Ok yes, Britain had a school shooting where i believe that 14 students died... (give or take) in the end, Britain banned all handguns w/o approval, which eventually let to and all weapons ban... what has this FACTUALLY proved? Britain has a higher crime rate nowadays than they did then, as well as higher one than the United Stated. Britain actually leads the U.S. in violent crime... why do you ask? Because people are knocking the **** out of other people with tire irons and Louisville slugger. Get real people! ! ! The "gun control" act of the Brady bill was Proved in the supreme court and congress not only to be unconstitutional, but un-realistic and just plain stupid. Obviously gun control has not worked so far, or what gun control we do have (in my opinion any gun control is against the constitution, but that's just me)... anyhow i propose not "gun control" but gun education. Allow more CCW's. Florida crime reports for instance stated that most violent crimes that are attempted with firearms were halted due to another citizen with a weapon. This is also true in many other states.... i know that this whole thing is a tragedy... yes young people died. However this is not something that could have been prevented. this was a culmination of ethics and values that were mis-taught, and neglected by his parents, family, friends, and society over his lifetime... though this is not and excuse for what he did, it is a possible explanation. Other than the fact is, this guy was probably a mental case to begin with... anyhow: "Guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people."
if this guy was as determined as he was when he went in there to kill all those people, I think he could have killed 23 people with a chicken leg if he wanted to....

Good read. If I may, though:
Speaking from experience in the department of arguing with liberals (my exgirlfriend is an uber liberal, dated her for 2 years), it's highly reccomended that you use proper grammar in your arguments, because when they realize that they're loosing, they'll nail you with whatever they can, including improper use of the English language.
