Ok Math experts I need a problem solved
Been in the sun and My Grand Sport won't load on my new trailer[:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!] Spoiler is hitting [:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]
trailer is 16" off ground at rear. Car has a 3" clearance off ground for spoiler
Distance from Spoiler to Center of front tire is 26".
How long of ramps do I need so they will clear the spoiler and load the car?

+1 this is the way to go. Its how I loaded my race car.
also if you take a 2by12 about 2and a half feet long then screw another one about 1 and 3 quarters long on top flush on one side and another about 1 foot long, flush on the same side. you have a ramp.(make 2) put them under the rear wheels of the tow vehicle ride up on them. so the ramps to the trailer and the trailer are in a straight line.

well, yeah, the above answers may be correct but that's not the right way to set up the problem. you don't need trigonometry.
you said the distance from the center of the tire to the spoiler is 26", and the spoiler is 3" off the ground. imagine that as a triangle, then enlarge it with the same proportions so the vertical height is 16" (height of the trailer). that gives you the steepest slope you can use, then you can calculate the length of the boards.
first triangle: 3" high, 26" base
larger triangle will then be 16" high, 139" base.
using a^2+b^2=c^2 to figure the long part, (16)^2+(139)^2=19,577 so c=139.9"
the boards for the ramp need to be 11-1/2 feet long. at least.
3" must not be much ground clearance at all.0 -

how about after pickup is parked take the trailer jack and lift front of trailer to drop the back of trailer lower.....leave trailer hooked to pickup....and remember to let jack back down before you take off...[:D]
edit .....guess somebody mentioned something to this effect.....didnt see it till now[:I]0 -
try laying a 2x6 on the ramps to gain height 0 -
