New Range opening in Lincoln co. WV Sat 15th.
They are a new Gun range opening in Lincoln County West Virginia.
Sat. 15 th Sept 07.
The range is located on Upper Mud River Road outside of Hamlin on property that includes the Mud River Dam (lake) park 1.5 past the boat ramp.
9:00 AM until Noon
Turkey Shoot
20,16 &12 gauges only, Screw in chokes must be checked.
No Turkey chokes, No Scopes.
Ammo supplied.
12:00 until 4:00 PM
Legal Deer Rifles, Varmint Rifles & Pistol Shoot (Scoped and Non-scoped)
Prizes will be awarded for each class
Prize Drawings throughout the day.
Refreshments will be served also.

This range was financed with government funds and built by volunteers.
The only negative I have heard so far has been, it is only a 100 yard range. I have not heard anything about the number of lanes either.
I will be headed that way bearing two new rifles. Both Winchester Model 70 Featherweights. One Stainless .270 and a .308 Classic. And of course the Colt Anaconda .44 mag will just have to tag along.
I will get some photos of the range and try to post a few.
Now I know what I will be doing this weekend..[8D]
