Edwards Predicts Doom for African-American Males

Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards said if he isn't elected president, the population of African-American males is likely to either wind up in prison or dead.
At an MTV/MySpace.com forum Thursday, Edwards responded to a question about inner-city kids partaking in violence by saying there was no "silver bullet" to fight the problem.
"We start with the president of the United States saying to America, `we cannot build enough prisons to solve this problem. And the idea that we can keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating - pretty soon we're not going to have a young African-American male population in America. They're all going to be in prison or dead. One of the two."

I don't think Edwards is proposing setting anyone free...
... I know for a fact he's proposing shackling all of us with more taxes to give more welfare to more blacks and illegals.
This is not meant to be racist, but let's be honest here - when was the last time you saw a Swedish immigrant or a Chinese immigrant at the welfare office?0 -

Now think about it. No one goes to jail unless they commit a crime so he must be willing to stop sending them to jail (exactly what Al sharpton and Jesse Jackson want) or that's where they'll be. All that means is more criminals on the street.[}:)]
As usual, he doesn't want to allow them to be responsible for their actions, and wants to make them think it's all the republicans faults that thet are getting convicted and going to jail.[}:)]

Seems like a roundabout way of saying 'some criminals are too dumb to figure out how to stay out of jail and will have to be retrained'
