Yes guys, I have been to most of the search engines. I am looking for first hand experience from the forum as how to fix his problem other than buying new. I have found a few places that handle used parts and may get lucky and find what he needs but I am also looking for someone who knows how to overhaul the parts he has. Yes, I have a few numbers to call tomorrow and maybe they can help also. Anyway, to all who replied, thanks much, Tom

Cant help with the first hand experience with a BD2F.
Have did a lot of work on CATS from a d3 up to D11's.

All of the ones that I had repaired have just been replaced. For the are considered an expendable item. Never known of anyone attempting to repair an Idler for a dozer. For most have the bearings pressed in and then a cap/flange welded over top of it. The metal that is used to make up an idler is really quit thin when the weight that they carry is considered.
