Well, he'll be back in the ring in 3 weeks.
I don't know how long before he'll be back in "action".

Bull fighting is an obscene "sport" reminiscent of gladiator days. I always smile when I hear of one of those A&&hoes getting gored or killed.

Serves him right for being a Matador by choice.

I am always glad to hear of one of the sick Spanish ba****** getting torn up by the bull.
It is pretty sick to get enjoyment out of watching a guy sticking swords into an animal in a pen.

Then I'm sure you also adhor boxing, wrestling, and football. All contact sports that appeal to the same bloodlust of Rome.

At least this bull got to extract a little revenge, unlike his McDonald's Big Mac bretheren from the slaughterhouse.

I don't like boxing, never really got into wrestling (professional or "real") and I am not sure what football has to do with the others. It doesn't end with the death of one of the players (at least not intentionally).

The only point of bull-fighting is to kill the bull after torturing it.

Boxers and wrestlers go into the ring voluntarily.
Nobody asked the bull whether he wanted to go into the ring so a human could stick swords and spears into him.

We've moved about an inch away from the trees (most countries) and a half inch away from the Roman amphitheaters. As long as we have matadors, boxing, professional or high school/college (even GROSSER to watch-reminds me of when you get two bugs to fighting)
wressling, that God forsaken Borat guy/movie (another symptom),we're gonna have wars.
We'll have wars and good vs. evil forever. Hense the everpresent need for weapons, 77 of which I've accumulated thus far!
Guess you can't breed disposition into/out of humans like you can dogs, horses, cattle.
And, IMHO, FWIW, you can't lump rodeo and huntin' in with the aforementioned.

I can't muster up a lot of compassion for mean animals or feel the need to do missionary work against customs of other cultures.
The Romans found they had trouble with the populace when coliseum games were discontinued so they were resumed.
Today's contact sports, rodeos, racing and probably extreme sports fill that niche today.

I've gotta agree that bullfighting sucks. Watching a guy torture and kill an animal is pretty sadistic.

The goal of boxing, wrestling, and football isn't to make a spectacle out of someone's death.

Even in bullriding, the rider and bull are supposed to leave the ring alive.
