canting cross arm shoulder holsters, please?
I'm having trouble finding anyplace to buy this for cold weather coat carry of my heavier longer semi-autos(Like my Baby Eagle or CZ75B,...up to 8.25" long frames.
Both the Horizontal and Vertical types leave me wanting a canted "FBI style" cross arm shoulder rig with a good amount of cant(20 or 30 degrees)for maximum concealment. Preferably leather, but any material that cants that much with tiedowns would big good, if I could find one.
I've seen adds for "Miami style" or "Miami Vice style" cross arm shoulder holsters which have a cant....but NO iformation about how many degrees they cant.
Can anyone here tell me about them, or where to look to buy an "FBI style", please?

Got a tack supply (horse stuff) or custom leather shop in town? Maybe a good seamstress with access to industrial strenght sewing machine? Have it custom done... 0 -
With something like this one you could adjust the slope of the gun by adjusting the straps in the front and back.

I had a catalog that had some across the chest carry leather holsters for D.E....and the pictures were in the mountains with what looked to be the Brawny paper towel guy modeling them....but I can't remember who's it was!0 -
iwannausername,
I may HAVE to go that custom route(but I know the cost would be huge), I'm looking for manufatured rig...even a horizontal rig(like Locust Fork's link) that I might modify the tiedown location to cant the grip UP about 20/ 30 degrees.
Locust Fork,
I'm not a member of EBay.
That looks pretty good though, if I could modify it as I just mentioned. Any similar brand like that out there? Who makes that anyway?
thanks, guys0 -
Those nylon holsters are everywhere....they aren't expensive. We sell them for $30 in the store. The brand doesn't really matter when you are under $100...if its THAT cheap its made in China. I know I saw what you are looking for in that catalog a while back. I will see if I can search a bit and find it. The whole thing was nothing but Desert Eagle carry holsters. 0 -
Try Uncle Mike's - Michaels of Oregon, online. Don't know the web address.
If I was looking for something like that, I'd buy one off the shelf & have my tack shop or tailor make the needed changes. Shouldn't cost too much extra.

Right, Sig232
Since I'm looking for a canted cross arm shoulder holster, this would work by removing and repositioned the tiedown nearer towards the muzzle to pull the grip up. How much is that model, friend?

thanks, Sig232
I just ordered it!

Yes, thank you, Sig.

Glad to help out, but I did not see any prices when I pulled up their catalogue and pictures of the shoulder holsters.
What was the price?0 -
As you found out if you scrolled to the bottom of that page....they are not doing internet orders at this time.
So I google the rig and ordered it thru GunAccessories:
http://www.gunaccessories.com/UncleMikes/Pro-PakHorizontalShoulderHolsters.asp
I ended up wanting and ordering the longer barrel size.
Looks like I paid twice what I should have without looking further(other places I see now have it for $37...Damn, I hate that!), but my order confirmation email says:
1 x Uncle Mikes UMK77050 4?-5 inch barrel large autos Ambidextrous Size 5 Pro-Pak
Horizontal Shoulder Holster @ $75.95 each.
Shipping + Handling: $9.95
TOTAL : $85.90
Thanks guys0
