Classic095 ... I need to contact you please.

I read in a post that you might be able to get a complete bolt for a Remington Model 41.

I would really like to get one of these, as my father had a model 41 since he was a boy, but somehow over time the bolt had been misplaced...we tried to find a bolt for the longest time and never could. He has now passed away and left the rifle to me, and for sentimental reasons I would like to see his rifle be complete again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Numrich had one but sold, there was one on ebarf that also sold for the astonishing price of 140.00 bucks just for the bolt..

    Black Roses said she would check all our contacts and see what she can find..

    Yeah, I've called Numrich several times over the past year or so, with no luck. Cost is not really an issue...but I don't want to get screwed either.

    But I would be willing to pay more than it's worth just to get Dad's gun complete...also be willing to buy a complete rifle just to get a functional bolt in decent condition.

    I will look as well....I am always running across the darndest things, have no idea why/how/when but they always come in handy for something....

    Did you check with the remington society?....I know Jack First doesnt have one, but some other company may..

    A bit of sympathy might have been in order for Classic,...I have been a full fledged bi*ch and probably will be again....Boss out of town, working doubles, sinus infection that kills me when I bend over, lay down or even walk...on antibiotics and darvocet....Classic's allergic reaction flared up again, so you can plainly see I have been a miserable cranky bi*ch....ohhhh yes and very short tempered....

    Thanks...I tried calling them earlier in the day on Thursday, but they must have been going to a gun show, and was actually closed...so I will have to wait until next week to give them a try.

    I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!...I went out on Ebay and there was one in an auction about to end...unbelievable!!!

    I got it for $130...and it looks like it's a nice one.

    This will save me from having to pay the transfer fees too.
