    Yeppers. I have shot one, a Jennings-Bryco 59, essentially the same gun. About one magazine full was all I wanted. The straight blowback action transmits all the recoil to the wide, square back strap that in turn pounds the web of the hand.

    Guns like this do have a purpose and a place. Buy it, load it, and shoot it enough to become familiar with it. Then, clean it, load it and put it in the nightstand or glove box. Leave it there until time to clean it again or until it is needed. They are darn sure not meant to be taken out and shot every weekend.

    I can't remember who, but we have a member here who's awfully fond of the Bryco/Jennings/Jimenez line and tries to jump down people's throats for dissing them. He sounds as if the owner/founder is some buddy of his.

    I believe he even has a web site devoted to them. Seriously.

    If this one were engraved he might bid.[:D]

    I know we have some Hi-Point aficionados, but I am unaware of any rabid Jennings/Bryco/Jimenez fans. Personally, I don't care to own or use any of the "cheap" guns, but they do have their purpose and place.

    I bid twice and was automatically outbid as someone else must really want it. I'll keep an eye on it and see where it goes.

    Would be funny to have something in the safe as an example of what NOT to shoot.[;)]
