Here is the Sprigfield I have questions about....
This one has a barrel marked 11-13....the serial number is 271396...there are little "R" all over the place....D84 is on the side under the site....the little bomb marking is on it in several places...the stock has the letter F on it near the trigger guard. Were there any other caliburs other than 30-06?

Some of my questions are....has the barrel been replaced or is it right for the serial number range? What are the markings about on this gun? Any info you have is appreciated.

I am no 03 expert but can tell you is mixed parts. The R is for Remington and it is wall hanger. Any serial below about 800,000 is not to be fired. 0 -
I'll take it off your hands for you. 0 -
What is the F about on the stock? 0 -
SA = Springfield Armory Rebuild
F = 1909-18 (C,D,F,H), Springfield Armory
11=13 = Not sure but would be my guess that it is the rebuild date for the Eleventh month 1913 for most of the original ones I have saw were just marked like 07 for the year produced .
Don't see it in the photos.
But does it have a box or a box with an open end that has letters in it such as FWA or an SA with an A or other letter under it anywhere on the left side of the stock?0
