Funny story, i was looking at a CZ-52 and asking a few questions about it to my favorite gun shop guy, Mark, he said some of them have a problem, they will fire if you let the slide fly forward, he said not all of them, then he told me about his only accidental discharge, was with the pistol i had in my hand, needless to say i didnt buy that one! 0 -
How'd they get through Kalifornia Customs without an orange thingy on the barrel!!! 0 -
I just got one of those Czech 52s and it's fun. I want to clock that .30 caliber bullet. Supposed to be around 1400 FPS. One small problem I had was that as I shot the gun the safety engaged. Either my thumb hits it or the inertia of recoil moves the lever.
AIM advertised 1228 rounds for $110 + $28 shipping. Works fine for me. Now you need a PPSH to go along with it.
I like the P38, too. Fun to shoot. You got that one cheap.0 -
That P38 is actually a P1. I bought two of them for $150 a while back -
private deal - they shoot as well as the P38.0 -
P1 is the alloy frame, post war version, of P38. Used by many european police, in post WWII Europe. + lighter than P38 and much cheaper; - not really collectable. Not a bad deal, though with the ammo. The CZ52 is 7.62x25 (approx 30 cal) and the round is everything said above. Loads of fun to shoot, but do have a history of slam fire. Don't trust the safety or the de-cock mechanism. 0 -
Wait a minute, if that first one's 90% finnish, what is the remaining 10%?
swedish?
Which will infuriate the czechs.0 -
Good job, combined you came out ahead in my book! 0 -
Stay with the 115 grain 9mm,on the P1/P38 do not use the p+ or any hot loads, frame may crack. 0
