If they find such a poisoner they could send him or her to me for rehabilitation.

Drudgereport states that ABC has found out the recent scare of bad dog food was posioned, with some kind of rat killer stuff.

Told Mom to watch our 3, lil Black 4 legged kids.

If one of my pups get sick....

Ibd highly PO'd, to say the least.

Who said pup aren't human, ours are and they know it.

Hope everyone checks their dogs food out, that is not a good way to go.

The poison is from a rat poison to keep them out of the grsin used to make the wheat glutten added to the dog food. Not intentional just sloppy safety procedures used at the factory.

March 23, 2007 - ABC News has learned that investigators have determined that a rodent-killing chemical is the toxin in the tainted pet food that has killed several animals.

A source close to the investigation tells ABC News that the rodenticide, which the source says is illegal to use in the United States, was on wheat that was imported from China and used by Menu Foods in nearly 100 brands of dog and cat food.

What I read said New York is not speculating on the origin of the rat poison. So if not rehabilitation, I will be in charge of re-training, and I promise it is a mistake that person will not make again.

if the source is an overseas import containing a US banned chemical then company would be negligent in safety testing....this would indicate another case of buy it cheaper from anywhere except from an american producer/farmer....find it hard to believe they are that sloppy with BANNED chemicals (which i cannot purchase with my private applicators license) at this facility which on news looked to be a newer setup,,,so if report is correct it is also interesting that company can import wheat from china cheaper than buying from an elevator across town??????

America is as I recall, the greatest wheat growing nation in the world.
Why are we buying poisoned wheat from China?

...Bad things enter the food chain. We in the grain business have no idea what was swept into the grain at the producer level. On our level, it's nearly impossible to keep rodent poison and the poisoned rodents out of the food chain. Disgusting? Sure, but the dilution is such that after 30+ years in the business, I have no qualms about eating grain products.

...That's right folks...every day, we eat rats, warfarin, manure from truck tires and untold amounts of dirt and insects. Deal with it. If a concentration of poison is high enough to cause illness in any animal, it was either intentional or a big goof at a plant that handles grain and huge quantities of toxins.

it could have just as easily been in bread and your kids eating it.

I refuse to buy foreign food.

I suspect a disgruntled cat did it.
