Does anyone use and like foaming bore cleaner

Please give me your thoughts on foaming bore cleaning products for copper desolving from FMJ ammo and why you use, and like them....if you guys do.

I want to buy some, but would like to hear all your opinions on if they are good and which brand is the best.

    wipe-out,..the best I have ever used. absolutley NO effort at all,..just fill it and come back tomorrow and patch it out.

    I use a proprietary blend of white vinegar and peroxide called,"Bore's Kleener" that will dissolve all lead, copper, brass pieces, and carbon in about 2 hours with NO scrubbing, NO brushing, heck, NO work other than plugging the bore and pouring it in!
    It won't work on those silly Black Rifles due to that annoying gas tube, but it simply wipes out all kinds of fouling (except plastic from wads).
    It foams a little while it works.

    Thank JustC,
    I looked at their website and the product looks very good.

    I'll get some....does it have any bore penetrating ability that conditions the bore for ease in future cleaning, and sealing microscopic holes in the steel?

    Gunslick, etc., foaming bore cleaner works good for me. Let it sit for 1/4 to 1/2 hr. then wipe out.

    The product won't penetrate the bore from what I have seen, but I use the sinclair ring lapping compound and a tight patch for the first 2-3 cleanings on a factory barrel and it will be smooth enough to foul very little. Match barrels are already smooth enough right from the shop.

    I also use the wipe-out accelerator for quicker cleaning times.

    GM TEC (top engine cleaner) was a superb bore cleaner,..but they have discontinued it and made it a weaker formula.

    They do work but I am afraid to use them due to what they may do to the finish of the barrel?

    I have a cup board full of miracle cure barrel cleaners, I have been using the foamy stuff for about 9 Mo's now, It does get a lot of the blue stuff out with very little work, so don't know if is works good or not. time will tell. that thing they say about not having to oil the barrel afterwards I question. I have always put a patch of hoppies in the barrel after I use the foamy stuff, I dont use oil in my barrels any more got tire of cleaning out the varnish looking stuff out.

    I use gunslick brand it works so good I'm very impressed..go and clean your rifle the old way and then with foam and see how much more blue comes out

    Ahh....you bring up that old controversial topic from long long ago during the Gunbroker "heritage days". Rember back when you could embed a sound in a thread so that everyone would hear it when they opened that thread?

    The topic you suggest or allude to is the concept of "barrel break-in" or the act of sealing all the pores and smothing out the machining marks so that fouling has no place to embed itself. I wonder if we could get that argument started up again in another thread.

    Unlike what this article says, I was told to let each bore patch treatment dry for about 10 minutes, before firing gun with one round and then subsequent treatments with the product and firing once more...until about 9 or 10 applications and firings are accomplished to get the optimum affects of the bore sealing properties.
