Disappointing deer/elk opening day ...
We (all seven) hunted hard yesterday. We were all gunning for elk but to no avail. None of us seen any. Only one caught a glimpse of a muley's behind.
Oh well, that's why it's called hunting ... there always another opportunity. [:p]

We had the same results yesterday. I the woods all day did not see a deer. Jumped in the truck and started heading home, seen 26 in the first 5 miles. Go figure. 0
