    Nope. They go to the smelter. All guns that have been used in crimes and have been captured by police are destroyed after their value as evidence has expired.

    Umm...no. Not necessarily. I have two shotguns in the closet from police auctions.

    Had a buddy lose a Harley because of DUI, It was suppose to be auctioned at next sherrif's sale. It dissapeared, no bike, no record, he pushed the point and was told to leave it alone. Small town justice YEAAAA!
