Why is this one of only a few auto handguns that can be used for hunting?

A lot of states have minimum caliber requirements for hunting big game with a handgun. 9mm and .45 ACP usually do not meet those requirements. Therefore, you are limited to .357, .44 Mag, and 10mm for the "common" autos that can be used for hunting.
