    The DD classification for guns over .50cal only applies to rifled guns, not smoothbores/shotguns. Hence the reason that all the 20mm rifles out there are DD's and 12ga shotguns are not. If a gun is ruled to not have a 'sporting purpose' (whatever the hell that is) it can be classified as a DD. That's what got the Streetsweeper and USAS-12 on that list. Considering that there is little difference between a drum-fed Saiga and either of these guns, I imagine the peckerheads in DC will be rallying to ban Saigas in a couple years too.
