    What I don't understand is how he is listing it as LNIB but there is a definate cylinder line from the cylinder rotating and there is rust on the hammer.

    Maybe because it is lettered?

    the only differance I can see in the two pics you posted,Is that in pic 1 if the pistol is fired,It will shoot to the right.In pic 2,It will shoot to the left.Hope this helps.[:D]

    He has a letter....that adds to the price of a gun.....also the box and I bet he is certain the entire gun is original and even the grips match. He has it priced in a "I'll never get this price for this gun" price range but he may get offered some kind of interresting trades or may get an offer he may take one day. He may not want to sell it but some nut job or book somewhere has him thinking it is worth a fortune...and if he can get that amount he will part with it.

    I say do a penny auction with NO reserve on your gun and e-mail him the link to your auction. He will either freak out or bid like crazy!

    +1 LF probably has the best reason for why the price is so high.
