How to remove ink tag? Updated with pics
My daughter went shopping with her mom about 60 miles from my house. She bouht several bags of clothes. When she got home there was one of those ink tags on a belt she bought. We hate to drive 60 miles back to the store to have it removed. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

I think you can remove them by placing a strong magnet on either side of the fastener. Or I found this http://blog.andrewwatters.com/tag/ 0 -
Take a strong wire cutter after the pin in the middle. 0 -
Wrap it in saran-wrap and use cutters. 0 -
It was clamped too tight for the wire cutters. I slowly disected it with large pair of nail clippers. Once all of the plastic was removed, I saw what held it. It was a piece of spring steel with an arch bent into it and a hole in the middle. When the arch is inverted, it releases the pin. The pin had groves in it which was held by the spring steel. It wasn't the type like in all of my web searches showed with the ball bearings. I'll try to post a pic of it in a few minutes.
I just made my daughters day. She thanked me many times. "Dad is the man" she said. Pictures shortly.0 -
Pics of the internals of this ink tag.

They don't look like that around here. Glad you got it off. 0 -
How the heck did you make it out of the store without it doing what it was supposed to do (i.e. shoot ink everywhere)???? 0 -

It is made to break open and release ink only after someone tries to remove it.0 -
