Kel-Tec pistols are good quality, but not meant for anything other than back-up or conceal carry. They are light weight and not meant for target accuracy or extended use. After all, the receiver frame is aluminum.

Most all of them require a break-in period which is to say, you might have some feed problems for the first 150 rounds unless you do a little polishing on the ramp. Don't get too aggressive, most people just use a pencil eraser to do it, and theirs break in in the first 20 rounds of use.

Overall, very good little pistols that are very reliable after break-in and have good accuracy.[;)]

Trigger pull sucks, but other than that they are great pistols!!! Ive had my 9 mm for a few years now and no problems. Mine got kicked around bad in the bag on my atv, but still functions and cycles fine.

I highly recommend Keltec, great reliable pistol for the money!!!

I like mine also. At seven yards they will group pretty good if you practice a bit. I use Winchester Silvertips and they cycle great.

I too don't think you want to shoot them that much. A few clips once in a while to remember the trigger pull and get used to the recoil and you are good to go.

The p3at is an awsome pocket pistol for the money. I love mine and it goes everywhere I do. Not gonna win any trophys at the range with it but it will do within 20 yards with little more than the front sight on target. You will have to aim a little better farther out.

I forgot to add that the +1 mag extension helps with recoil and grip control.

I carry a P-11, and have for everyday for the last couple years. I've got over 1000rds through it and it has never given me the first problem. I did do a little polishing here and there when I bought it. I recommend the Hogue slip on grip as it really helps fit my hand better. I'm not fond of the mag extensions, because it just adds size and I don't need any extra when concealing. This flush-fit mag holds 12rds. + 1 in the chamber, plenty for me. I've never had a grip problem when firing to need the extension. I also use the factory belt clip as the way I carry, but that's just my personal preference. It's not pretty and has been abused, but I will stake my life on it and know when I pull the trigger it will fire.

My P3AT is very noisy. Dont forget to wear hearing protection. It is louder than my 300 win mag. Not real accurate and lously trigger pull but for the price and the size it is a okay gun. Mine stays in my front pocket just about everywhere I go. Pocket lent builds up in the barrel every now and then but I just open the chamber and blow the lent out.

I love to carry mine. I forget it's there. Run a few hundred rounds of hardball through it before it sees HP's. Reliability is no issue. Trigger pull sucks, accuracy sucks, recoils pretty good, lots of pop. It's a great backup gun or warm weather carry gun for those who aren't Police Officers.

Get one, you'll be glad you did. And you just missed my auction for an ankle holster for one.

My P-11 was good right out of the box. No FTF or FTE. I'm getting used to the trigger now after I put a shoe on it. It IS loud and jolts your hand around a little but all in all I would depend on it.

I got rid of both of mine the 380 and the 9 finger pinching SOBs and the 9 seemed excess recoil. I think there are better choices out there but that's just my 02 cents worth. To each his own and my post is not to start a battle, its like Ford and Chev.[:(][xx(][V]
