Yukon Gold Safes
They're made by Browning, correct?
What are your opinions on them?
We don't even carry the Browning Medallion Safes at SW. Special order for a price of $4200. [B)]
We have a Yukon Gold safe with all the same features as the Browning Sterling Series for about $500 less.
We have a small safe that is completely full right now and doesn't offer much protection. I had a list of guns that I wanted to buy right away, but it doesn't make much sense to buy them if I don't have a good place to put them.
This 36 or 40 gun safe will only cost me $500.
Here are the specs...
60"x36"x26"
30min @ 1200degree fire rating
695lbs, will be bolted through the floor at 4 places to a 1/4" steel plate on the opposite side of the floor.
12 bolts
12ga steel
Relocker
Still features the lifetime fire/break in warranty by Browning.
Here is my view, I need a bigger, nicer safe now.
If I drop $500 on this "Decent" safe, at least they'll be better protected than they are now.
Later on down the road I'll save up for a top end Browning or Liberty safe.
