Gun Owners/ Hunters on Television
I can think of many tv shows and movies that feature homosexuals and always in the best possible way. They are cute, nice, funny, and fashionable. However, can you name any sitcoms that have a regular character that is a gun owner or hunter ?
Supposedly homosexuals are 5% of Americas population but hunters and gun owners should be about 20-30%. Where is the representation on television ?
Blacks are 12% of the population and they have MANY ENTIRE shows dedicated to them.
OH WAIT....I saw a gun owner on tv last night...it was on Datelines "to catch a predator". they arrested a guy for going to meet a young girl and when they searched his car they found numerous weapons, "autmatic assualt weapons" as NBC called them. All of the guns appeared to be legal.

You obviously don't watch the Outdoor Channel or Versus too much, do you.
I am just kidding with you.
There are very few sitcoms/dramas that feature outdoorsy types. I know Bill Engval is a hunter and fisherman and he has a new sitcom, but I don't watch it.0
