From a guy out in Martin, S.D. Pictures taken from his kitchen onto his deck. The cat was watching his little kids playing on the kitchen floor.

    I have caught a few bobcats on the porch of my old house before. But never a had a cat quite that big.

    Unfortunate but, as pretty and impressive as the thing is, it would most definitely have to be shot. I have to say if I came across that animal in the wild while hunting it would be very very difficult to shoot it. That is the most impressive thing I have seen in a while.

    Beautiful animal...If it were me I'd be worried every time my kids were outside in the yard. I believe I would have to do away with it the first chance I had.

    If it was watching your kids so intently that it let you take photos of it without running away then it will most likely be back. Your local animal control office would probably loan you a trap if you called them.

    Ya, you can do that with the bobcats with no problem. But, around here you can get in big trouble having a mountain lion pelt.

    I've heard that they are very good to eat...seems kind of odd considering that they are a cat, but they are supposed to be good.

    You know, Heffley never did say what happened after the pictures were taken.

    Shoot, Skin, Shovel, Shutup?

    In Illinois it is illegal to shot a bobcat, but if one gets caught in a trap, then oh well, it happens. Fortunately, a bobcat is not the same as this thing.

    My Mt. buddy had sent me two of those pics claiming he took them, and
    I recently posted one here. That makes at least twice he's been
    caught in bs.lol Neat shots nonetheless. Thanks.

    It looks like they leave food out for cats or dogs....and got more coming around. That animal is too "at ease" for me. They may think it is cool to have critters coming up like that to the house....but when something goes wrong it is a suprise. I'd stop leaving food out if I were and set a trap for that kitty.
