How is HR 1022 now HR 2640???

Sorry for the dumb question...but I've been on vacation for this week, still am on vacation but anyways the sticky didnt help at all...how is 1022 now 2640?, I mean did they add to the bill or what??

  this one is an extension of brady and background checks
