I would think your bank would have them, I have purchased them from my bank in the past instead of travelers checks.

I opened a new account at a different bank for my ebat work it limits my exposure to what I put in, if buying I just ad the funds when necessary.

I use prepaid CC's for all my online transactions!

    Look at www.netspend.com

That is the card I use!

i use the same as g-r-d. no interest, can only spend what you put on it. easy to recharge, you can track your account online if you want, 50 cents by phone. you do have a set charge limit. mine can be loaded with up to $2500. if i want more i either get a second card or pay the 9.95 fee for the upgrade. you pay nothing for the card, there is a $2.00 loading fee. great for those emergencies on trips or for online purchases if you want to keep your banking info private.

And they don't work with EBay... i actually emailed them about it since I was leery as well, just told them "i don't believe in credit cards".

Consider maybe a low-limit secured card with one of your normal banks?

You all do know that most any CC offers fraud protection. What are you afraid of? Just use one card dedicated to On-Line use. What will you lose?

    +1

In my opinion this is the best option, especially if you can monitor the credit card on-line and not wait for the monthly bill in the mail.
