    It was pretty obvious the poor girl saw stars, the dumba$$ idiot didn't even realize what happened. Hope it doesn't make her gun shy. Most women are good shots.

    She will probably never pick up another gun. Or, if she does, she will have a heck of a time getting rid of the flinch.
    Another point is, what the heck was she doing shooting a 12 gauge pump gun with slugs?!? The recoil from that gun using 1 ounce slugs is comparable to a .458 Win (or so I have read).
    Now, my wife's ex-husband did this to her with a 12 gauge double and 3 inch buck because he and his friends though it would be funny. It took me 5 years just to get her to pick up anything but a handgun and she still is very recoil shy and sensitive. I could kick his ass all over again just for that.
