Looking for a handgun and need your help
Hey guys,
I am new to the site and some of you recently helped me decide about what to get for my first gun. I purchased a Remington 870 Express magnum, thanks again its great. I am also looking for a handgun and am leaning towards the Kimber TLE/RL II. I have fired a springfield 45,a kimber 45, a USP 40, a Walther p99, and a 45 cal glock. Out of all of them I liked the kimber and the springfield the most. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on these guns positive or negative. I would really appreciate any feedback or opinions.
Thanks,
Brian

Although everybody has there own opinion of what gun would fit you the best, the truth of the matter is that "the gun that fits you the best is the best fit for you". Go out and shoot everything you can get your hands on, go to a range that rents guns, borrow a friends guns, just find out what fits the best. For my hands the USP and CZ-75 fit like a glove but I don't like the fit of a Glock or 1911. That is not saying that they are not great guns, just that they don't fit my hands.
As posted above I have shot a Kimber 45, Springfield 45, USP 40 (which felt real good in the hand), a 45 Glock, and a Walther P99. I just liked the way the kimber and springfield 45 shot. Unfortunately the shop by me doesnt rent Colts. I like the built in tac rail on the kimber and I like the kimber quality, just dont like the price tag. Oh and I see your a Cubs fan...........GO SOX!!!!!!0 -
If you want perfection, go with the Glock.[}:)] 0 -
You are wise to choose a non-Glock .45ACP.
