    Da Braves!

We got Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Warren Spahn.
    How could we lose?
    Don't forget, Dale Murphy.

    YANKEE's

71-39 the last half of the season. in the last month they went from being tied or a +/- 1 or 2 games in the wildcard race. to clinching a playoff spot. not to mention the tromping of the division leading Red Sox.

If they continue to play like they did against the Sox's there isn't anyone can stop'em

I'm hoping for Cleveland to win it also.Just missed the 1948 win and would love to see them get a win in my lifetime. Since the Cuyahoga river caught fire the town has cooled off some[:p]

Being from Cleveland, I gotta say the Indians- and for a change, even if I WEREN'T from Cleveland I'd say the same this year. They have an excellant record, VG pitching, a good all round batting order......they got where they got this year the old fashioned way, by earning it and having each member contribute, not by having one or two superstars- like the Cavs and Lebron James. Though I loathe them, I'd give the Yankees a good shot too.

I grew up in Cleveland, and would like to say the Indians as well, but it won't happen this year. My prediction is that they'll lose to somebody in the World Series.
    Here's my rationale:
    NCAA football: Buckeyes-lose championship.
    NCAA Basketball: Buckeyes-lose championship.
    NBA: Cavs-lose championship.
It's been a second place year for all my teams, and I'm afraid the tribe will keep up the tradition.
That doesn't mean I'll stop wearing my Indians hat.

It will not be the Yankees, they are a great team but they do not work well in a high pressure situation, or in other words, they choke

I think the owners are overpaid, not the jocks. when Paul Mcartney can get 5 million dollars for a 4 minute halftime performance I don't have much of a problem with athletes being paid as much as they do.

I would say the CARDINALS, but there is that little problem about them not even being in the playoffs this year! [:(]

Being a CARDS fan I cannot pull for the CUBS!

I guess I will have to root for the Rockies.

I got off of professional baseball when the powers that be decided that the little league teams couldnt wear Jerseys with any professional teams names on them, like Yankees and such without paying a royalty to the professional teams. Also they started sending rookie players out to malls to sign balls for 50 bucks a pop. Its all about the freakin money. Look at the morals of many of the high dollar players, great role models for kids today. Yep. Not all are bad but just enough to give one a sour taste on the sport.SOOOOOOOO who cares who wins????

Cleveland born and bred. Left for USN service and came back. INDIANS ALL THE WAY! They always have to do it the hard way though...it will probably take seven games to get there.

Baseball is bad, I give you that. I don't watch any baseball except playoffs and World Series.
But as bad as NASCAR? No way, nothing else is that bad.
