    Like 'em grilled on the grill. Here's an option: when they are fresh out of the garden, put them up in the freezer with a few shucks still on. When you get ready to cook them, boil them in some milk. MMMMMMM GOOD!

    I like 'em on the grill.

    If not the grill then I steam them rather than boil them. I think they lose less flavor that way.

    Boiled in milk huh? I guess I'll have to try that.

    The reason is that milk contains natural sugars. So, when you boil them in milk it doesn't leech as much sugar from the corn. Therefore, they stay sweeter!

    I like to take unhusked ears, sprinkle some water on them, wrap them in a couple layers of tinfoil and cook them under the covered grill.

    When camping, I do the same thing, except bury them under the coals at the edge of the fire.

    Boiling in the house, I put a cup and a half of sugar(Splenda) in the water and boil gently while a lid is over them.

    I also like to use different kinds of corn - different colors from white to deep yellow. Although It is getting harder to find varieties.

    I really love sweet corn - Ohio boy, doncha know.

    Milk, will have to try that.

    The scenario;

    Wife goes shopping, picks up some sweet corn, brings it home. You fire up the grill for some steaks and corn. Grab a cold one, throw everything on the grill, get it all started. The smells are great. Everything is done, and you sit down to eat. Get the butter dripping off the corn, salt and pepper just the way you like it, taste buds are raging, take a BIG bite and..........
    find out it's FIELD CORN. [:0][:(!][:(!]

    What do you do?
