    i wikipediad it, and it said you can get accuracy out to 100 yards with it. i dont know if i would get that far with my 870, 18.5 inch barrel. I wonder its like when it hits steel, or concrete.

    I can get 4-5" at 100yds
    hits like a brick also
    18" benneli with ghost rings
    Was hitting a old 50 gallon water tank @ 180 yds, chewed it up pretty quickly!, favorite slug, was lucky and found a bunch on close out.

    I have taken many deer with them. My longest shot was around 95 yards, and there was no drop at all. I sighted in my slug gun at 100 yards, and I wouldn't hesitate to shot farther if I needed to with these slugs.

    If the "youtube" video link is your real take on the world then my offer to take you fishing if you are ever in my neck of the woods is off.

    He does make a valid point that we are too self-absorbed to care about others and think nothing can happen to us.

    The slugs are good for smoothbore shotguns on thin skinned non-dangerous game. If you are going to some other state besides Florida to hunt and slugs are reguired they are great. If you are going to be putting you life at stake or require "buck-shot" then you need to go to www.dixieslugs.com. The "Terminator" is for dangerous game and the tri-ball "buck-shot" will put all 3-60 caliber pellets into a 10 inch circle at 35 yards.

    SurburbanNoize,everyone is telling you right about the accuracy of sabots, with my 870 w/a hastings cantilevered rifled slug bar. w/muzzlebrake 22in. I get 3-4in groups standing, off a rest 2-3 easy,using a leupold 2-7x33 vx11 for shotguns,which helped alot[scope],If you ever want to deer hunt in ohio w/a slug gun I will invite ya,h... w/the others[}:)] ,you bring the gun,I will provide the spot![:D] Loko[;)]
