If only half is against her, then the other half is definitely STUPID!

Zogby Poll: half of likely voters nationwide said they would never vote for New York Sen. Hillary Clinton

Of course since only about half of America's likely voters ever seem to vote, we'd better hope that the right 50% show up at the polls.

Heres the problem with that. So half of America would vote for her. That means that between whoever the Republicans put up against her, the Libertarians, the Green party, and write-ins and whoever else gets votes split up the other half, guess what, the dems win.[xx(][:(]

This is nothing new. But it translates this way.
1/2 of Americans against Hilairy = 1/2 of Democrats against her.
But the other 1/2's support is divided between principly 2 other candidates. That leave (approx) 1/4 for Obama and 1/4 for Edwards and 1/2 for Hilairy.
Therefore Hilairy wins the Democratic nomination.
Now comes the question. Will the other 1/2 of Democrats follow thru w/thier opposition to Hilairy over their opposition to anything GOP because of their HATRED for GW?
My dad is a long time "Missouri" Democrat. And he doesn't like Hilairy. But I'll garentee that if it comes down to it, he'll vote for her no matter who the GOP candidate is.

Yeah, I was listening to Hannity for a few minutes this afternoon. He talked to three women in a row, all three said they were going to vote for Clinton because she's a woman, and they don't like what the other candidates look like.

He pressed them over and over to give a reason - her voting record, stance on the issues, anything. Not a one could even say what the issues are, only blathered repeatedly that she was a woman, would get their vote, Thompson was an ugly old man, etc.

    God help us.

Zogby also showed that 80% of Ameicans disaprove of Bush's job, and 75% are against the War in Iraq. How come those haven't been posted?

Also, on current topic, only 50% hate her? I wonder how many just don't care enough for her to vote for the witch?

One thing for sure, it will get quite interesting. I kind of doubt Billary will get the senior womens vote and they make up a LARGE chunk of the female voters. There are going to be some "on the line" Dems from the "old boys club" that will not vote for her. Hopefully if they keep pumping up her numbers the Reps will turn up in greater numbers to vote. I truely think a conservative woman could win a presidential election hands down. It may still be quite a fight for a liberal.

What this poll really means, if fifty persent say they could never, never, never be presuaded to vote for Hillary. Not if the Devil himself was running against her. Put me in with those fifty percent.

What this really comes down to, is will the Repub candidate be able to give hope to this same fifty percent? Plus a few more? It's going to boil down to who stays home, and who goes to the polls.

    God save the Republic!
