Marc1301 -- KP345
You had asked in another post if I had a KP345 and how I liked it.
I do have one and think it is a great gun. I haven't shot it alot yet but so far have not had a single problem. One of the best semiautomatic pistols Ruger has produced. Very comfortable grip. Hopefully they carry this on and make one in .40 and one in 9mm just like it.
I like the grip so much I did this.

**This was made from a reciever that had been destroyed, not a fully functioning gun. I don't think I would have the heart to cut a good gun.**

Man,..........I'm glad you explained that one![:D]
I looked at the pic before I read the message,.............thought "It's really time for an eye exam"!
Several people I know tried to talk me out of it about a year ago, but I just liked the way it felt so much, I bought it anyway.
I must have 1,000 rounds through mine, at least, and also have not had any issues other than it shot low. I called Ruger, and they sent me another sight set, and that was it! Very accurate, and doesn't seem finicky about ammo.I shoot largely 230 grain WWB, but have also tested it with 230 grain Federal Hydra-Shok, as that is what it is stoked with when not target shooting. No problems with them either. I was just curious, as I don't know very many folks that have one.
Here is mine buried among some others,............only pic I have of it that is on Photobucket right now.
Nice shift knob BTW![:D]

Loko,........the only issue I had with mine, was when I first installed it, and sighted. I shot a couple of mags, and had to re-adjust.
After doing the above one more time, it has not moved from POA, and I have even taken it on and off several times. The rep told me to expect to adjust once or twice, but then I shouldn't have any problems.
They have a 3 year warranty I believe, so if you have already done the readjust a few times, I would call them, and send it back for exchange.
Be glad you got the LaserMax! The first one I bought was a Laserlyte, and it was a total POS! The switch would turn the laser on and off from recoil!! Plus it was impossible to zero, and would lose POA every few shots,............got my money back, including shipping![8D]
Edit: Nice S&W ya got there BTW![:D]0 -
Marc, I have only adjusted it twice and now haven't fired it again so.... this weekend we will see, I do like the option of being able to mount my x-200 surefire under it also, the best laser i have is the LAS Viridian on my p22 walther,it is super bright for daytime use even when the sun is out,it is the green beam and once adjusted it has never lost poa on the walther but it is gun specific ,ie only fits the walther, although they are making one for the xd series of springfields,I for one am hoping they will make one thats uni. so i can mnt it on several diff. guns including the two Colt ARs in my sig. pic, thanks,Loko[:D]

Now THAT is a laser![:D]
I just checked my paperwork,.......it is a three year warranty.
Also I see LaserMax is now making that same laser in green! Figures[xx(]0 -
It looks kinda bulky but, actually weighs less than the laser max,yea like you said that figures [gr. laser max] as i have only had mine for 4-5 mnths, maybe the price will fall on the red ones to nothing [;)] when everyone buys a green beam. Loko [8D] btw [love my smith&wesson[:p] ] 0
