This one makes that one look small. We cut it down because it was a river birch and short on life and right next to a building big storm would have produced big problems.

A 30" tree is a good size tree. That is about a 60 footer around here. The largest tree I have felled is a 44"+ Oak tree. What brand/model saw do you have?

Good old 029 Stil brought her down. Of course a cable and long chain were hooked to an international M.

I own three Stihl's, in the old days one was assembled by a single person. Mine still run like the day they were new

I also have three Stihl Chainsaws. A MS 192 T that I use for trimming and light duty limbing. An old 028 Wood Boss for limbing, and a MS 460 STIHL Magnum for felling and bucking. Stihl is the way to go.
