West Virginia, the last truly free state. Allow me to tell a story:
We were ATVing in McDowell county and got lost. We came down a dirt road into a small town. Looked up the road and here came a town cop. "You fellers lost?" We told him we were and we didn't mean to come into town. "Follow me" he says. Right through town we go following the officer. "Go up that trail and it will take you back to your trucks." Had we been in almost any other state in the eastern U.S., we would not have been treated so kindly, by a long shot. Later,I told my fellow riders "if we were in Virginia, we would be in jail right now."0 -

In Idaho you can ride your ATV's on the road...provided that they are licensed.0 -
Don't need a liscense in West-by golly-Virginia. No county/city stickers, helmets, just mind your manners when on someone else's property. In Virginia, we need a permit to fart. 0 -

Yep, as long as the road has no center lines its OKAY in WV. On the downside we lead the nation in ATV deaths.0 -
Lived in Greenbrier co. for ten yrs, White sulpher springs is one nice little area! sure miss it at times,Loko[:D][^] 0
