Manufacturers test Firing
I recently bought a Kimber and inspected it today. Auctioner listed the item as NIB, Inoticed slight wear on the hammer where it stikes. I am assuming that this is from test firing. Anybody know if Kimber does this, and if so how many rounds are put through it?

Most new guns nowadays come with one or two casings fired from the gun, because some states require that you file those with some appropriate authority. Beyond that, I believe most new guns have been test fired for at least the last decade.

isn't the fired casing in the "box" if nib it should be believe me the atf/has the matching one or bullet..Loko 0
