It looks like a fair fight, after all it appears the groundhog was armed also.

Looks very much like my rat terrier...which likely would've had it killed
before I could draw a bead.

spryor,oh she wanted a piece of her, even though she is just a yr old, she has come close twice on this hog,but the hog slipped back in the brush too fast, she is a very good pup,not gun shy either, she laid right beside me under the suburban while i sniped the ghog, she didn't flinch even when i shot,i have fired a 22lr around them quite a bit,[:D][^]

That's where mine's lacking. For some odd reason, if he sees me with a gun..he slinks off. I think it's because everytime he's seen it - somethin's gonna die. I dunno.
Unless he's already in kill mode on something, then there's no getting
a shot unless he's done with it.
Have a female also, that killed a small coon in the yard a few days ago. She WAS NOT gonna share it with the male...gave him a look like "just try it, buddy".[;)]

LOL that dog looks like a fiesty little devil! I love dogs like that. My brother has a Jack Russell, it's loads of fun.

mmmm....22 hornet. For some reason, the back of my mind keeps screaming, BUY A 22 HORNET!

    They're really growing on me.

Sadly [V]...[V].I must wait until the bike is paid for, mostly. I get a bonus in October.

REAL nice rifle there LOKO. Good looking dawg as well. My parents have a rat terrier, one hell of a varminter.

Nice shootin!! Very nice looking dog as well. When I finally move out of this apartment I'm in I have my heart set on one very similiar to it. BTW, you should be using the .308 for them chucks[:D][:p][:D].

JON, you are right but......308 always vaporizes them and that doesn't make a good pic [}:)][:D][^]

I too find the .22 Hornet a excellant groundhog gun, but I prefer my 22-250 for the long shots.

Nighthawk, agreed but under 150ish I like the hornet this Kimber is light and very accurate and hasn't let one walk away yet [:D],Loko[8D]
