Been ask before, but new guns and Member
I know this has been ask to death but this is a little different type question and we have several new Members and some who have recently bought AR's. If you had to pick one AR-15 that you must keep factory just as it came. Which brand would you choose? My choice is Bushmaster.
Also have you seen or heard about the Bushmasters that now work by use of a piston like the AK? I was told Armalite had the patten and put a stop to Bushmaster making them. But I spoke with a guy in the Bushmaster LE Division and he told me that wasnt true because Bushmaster bought the Patten. Im not sure that it will be better than the current ones now because in all truth the carbon build up on the bolt carrier pretty much cleans itself when it gets hot. Love to hear your thoughts?

Carbon does not clean itself. The piston takes the place of the gas tube thereby keeping the inside of the upper cleaner. 0 -
