Good for Halliburton! Don't blame them a bit. After taking crap from most of the country for so long, I'd move too. It's now in a lot more centralized location - most of their work is in that area and it'll be much more appreciated by folks who are in the know - Americans are just too uneducated and media brainwashed to understand what Halliburton is and how it benefits our country in 'the larger scheme of things.'

I for one love Halliburton,I traded their stock for 34 back to back $ making trades! A great company providing a needed service.Check out their yahoo web site,the loser liberals hate this company almost as much as they hate Bush,Rush,Hannity. you must be joking. The first Blade was reasonably watchable, but the second was honestly and with no exaggeration, the ABSOLUTE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I refused to see the third one, notwithstanding it had Jessica Biel in it.0 -

Not a fan of Halliburton.
That said, they're not ducking their taxes. They are incorporated in Delaware, and will continue to be. They're moving their main headquarters (the one for their primary branch, oil services) to the UAE in order to be close to where all the oil money's actually going.
Even CNN had to admit it. When the Clintonites grudgingly admit a fact counter to their bias, you can hold it up as Holy Writ.0 -

(2) Haliburton
(3) and (4) Baker and Weatherford (not sure which is larger between those 2, I beleive Baker though)
Haliburton is just another huge corporation trying to dominate the oilfield by offering "the total package". They provide pay and benifits that mirrors any other high end oilfield company. They will lay you off and not think about it agian with the least dip in profits. I personally worked for Schlumberger for 5 years and will never work for another huge oilfield company agian. Very cut throat places to work. Haliburton is no different I know this for a fact0 -

This makes them very much like most other workplaces these days. Gone are the times when a man could figure on giving the company 20-30 good years and retiring with security.[:(] The younger people of today would be wise to educate themselves in a field that would insure good employment opportunities with a wide range of possible employers. They're probably going to have to work for multiple employers over their careers.0 -
well hilary has come out against Haliburton, which to me means,
i will have to side with Haliburton
when you set down and think about it they really havn't done anything that any other co. wouldn't do, it is the AMERICAN way now days,
they are in it to make a profit, the gov. says it is ok then you better stand back because some one will get after it.0
